Our Story
White Oak House Buyers was founded over 10 years ago by Josh Wisdom, a Houston-area real estate investor who saw a consistent gap in the market: homeowners facing difficult situations — foreclosure, inherited properties, major repairs, problem tenants — had few good options. Traditional agents weren't equipped for distressed properties, and the cash buyers who did exist often made lowball offers without any explanation.
Josh started White Oak to do it differently. His Houston market experience helps him explain offer math clearly — including condition, comparable sales, repair needs, timing, and the title-company steps behind each purchase. The name comes from the commitment to being a solid, rooted presence in the Houston community — not a fly-by-night operation that disappears after the deal.
